While no hosting provider can guarantee complete protection against every threat, regular maintenance, monitoring, and reliable backups are important parts of reducing your website’s security risks.

- Uptime Monitoring: Automated monitoring to help identify website availability issues.
- Vulnerable or Abandoned Plugin Alerts: If a plugin is identified as vulnerable or abandoned, we’ll notify you so you can take appropriate action.
What’s Not Included?
Managed Secure Hosting covers the essential maintenance and monitoring of your website. Certain services fall outside the scope of routine hosting and are billed separately.
These include:
- Malware Removal and Hack Cleanup: Investigation, cleanup, and repair of compromised websites are billed hourly.
- Website Restoration: Restoring a website from an available backup is billed hourly.
- Premium Plugin License Renewals: Clients are responsible for managing and renewing any premium plugin licenses required by their website.
- Website Content Changes: Text edits, image replacements, new pages, and other content updates require additional support hours.
- Custom Development and Design: New functionality, website redesigns, and development projects are quoted or billed separately.
Our goal is to help prevent problems before they happen. However, should your website require recovery or additional technical work, our team can provide assistance at our applicable support rates.

In addition to Managed Secure Hosting, Lightmark offers prepaid support-hour packages for clients who need help maintaining or updating their website content.

We have three options for web hosting. Please select the one that suits you best.
Option 1: Managed Secure Hosting
Includes our Managed Secure Hosting service, with routine software updates, monitoring, daily backups, SSL, CDN, and security maintenance.
$1,295/year
Option 2: Managed Secure Hosting + 5 Support Hours
Everything included in our Managed Secure Hosting service, plus five hours of content and/or technical updates per year. After use of 5 prepaid hours of marketing support, hourly marketing support rates will apply.
$1,795/year
Option 3: Managed Secure Hosting + 10 Support Hours
Everything in our Managed Secure Hosting service, plus ten hours of content and/or technical updates per year. After use of 10 prepaid hours of marketing support, hourly marketing support rates will apply.

Rather Host the Website Yourself?
You also have the option to locate your own hosting. However, from our experience, the mass-market hosts, while possibly less expensive, are significantly slower, which can result in lowering your rankings in the search engines and a poor user experience, and they will not provide the WordPress maintenance and regular updating necessary to ensure the security of your WordPress site. However, if you would rather host it yourself, just let us know, and we’ll send you all the information you need to move the site to a new host.
